Terms of service

Please read the terms of service below, to ease the navigation of this form, you can click on a specific topic to be redirected to each point. If you may have any questions or problems regarding these remarks, they can be discussed with me and eventually changed before purchasing your commission piece.

  • All commissions will include a subtle signature that you may not remove.

  • All commissions sizes cannot be bigger than 210 x 297 mm at 300DPI. The client can request me to work with higher resolution files, if needed.

  • I might record the drawing process and post it on my youtube page.

  • Prices are subject to change based on demand.

  • I have the right to reject any order that I do not feel comfortable drawing for any reason.

^ Back to terms list.

  • Currency accepted is in EUR and can be paid through PayPal, Revolut, N26 or bank transfer.

  • The client can pay either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after I send them a watermarked low-resolution file of the artwork. Once the rest of the payment will be received, I will send them the high-resolution version of your piece.

  • The client should not send me any payment before I have agreed to work on their commission and before I request for payment.

^ Back to terms list.

  • Once the client pays the upfront price, they will be notified by email when I have started working on their commission. At this stage, they will lose the rights to a refund (for more info on refunds read "7. Refunds/Cancellation Policy").

  • I will divide the working process in 3 stages:

    • Rough sketches: I will do 2 very rough sketches versions of the commission requested by the client. The client will then choose which version they would want me to complete. The client will also be able to ask for 1 free revision for this stage (read "4.Revision" for more details).

    • Detailed sketch: I will make a very detailed sketch of the version chosen by the client. After I show them the preview of the detailed sketch the client can still ask me for 1 other free revision.

    • Completed work: I will complete the detailed sketch. After this stage, the client will be not able to ask a detailed revision but only small changes (example: changing colors, increasing/decreasing contract of the image etc)

  • I will share pictures of my progress with the client and will wait for their direction to move forward to each stage. All preview images will include a watermark and be smaller than the finished piece.

  • The time I take to finish each commission is usually between 2-5 working days. This time can vary depending on the client's response time for revisions, the complexity of the commissioned piece, other commissions in my schedule, my personal health and traveling.
    The client
will be informed asap by email if any inconvenience comes up and will increase the delivery time.

  • This time should be also respected by the client, who will need to be easily reachable in order to give permission to the artist to continue working on the commission and not slow-down its creation process.

  • The client can request to jump specific stages, for example:

    • The client can request to start immediately from the "Detailed Sketch" stage as they already have a precise idea of how the commissioned piece needs to look like.

    • The client can decide to make the artist start immediately from the "Completed work stage". Only in this case, the client can request a shorter delivery time (24h) for an extra 30% of the commission price. it is not assured to the client that I will be able to accommodate such request.

  • Once the piece is finished, the client will receive the full-resolution digital version of the artwork along with a web-friendly size.
The client can request the artwork to be sent to them physically at their address, cost will depend on the client's address and material provided by the artist.

  • The client will be getting 1 free revision for each stage. Major changes can be made only during the first two stages, which could be changing poses, expressions, positions of characters, changing clothes etc... While only minor changes can be done for the free revision on the "Completed work" stage, which will be simple modifications such as color corrections or other small fixes.

  • This means that the client has 3 free revisions in total for every commission. If they need more I will ask for extra payment, the amount will depend on the type of change needed and the stage in which such revision is requested.

  • If the client decides to skip a specific stage, they are not entitled to add its free revision for another stage. Each stage comes with 1 free revision only.

  • If the client wishes for me to change something in the drawing they have previously approved, I will charge a fee to change it.

  • The client will also be asked an extra charge if they need to change or add anything to the artwork, because their reference, their description was unclear or they simply forgot to add that detail to their request.

  • Once the artwork is sent in high resolution and paid for, the client cannot come back to the artist and claim any free revision they haven't used during the creation process. At this point, any type of modifications or extra work requested by the client would be requiring an extra cost which will be discussed and agreed with the artist.

    • Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.)

  • The client is not allowed a refund after I notified them that I started working on their commission.

  • The client has the right to get a full refund only if:

    • They ask me to cancel their request before I notify them that I started working on their commission.

    • If for any reason I am unable to start drawing their request.

  • If the client gets a refund, it won't be through a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.

  • If the client requests a Paypal chargeback at any point when they were not allowed to ask for a refund they will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for the client. Furthermore, the client will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.

If the buyer breaks any of the points stated above they will lose all the beforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned by me, Jessica Slusark (the artist), and I will have the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit. If the client has a problem with any of these statements, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to the down-payment of their commissioned piece.
